Toronto has a new international book fair, Inspire!
I’ll be there on Sunday, November 16th.
From 10:30-11:00 am, I’ll be on the Discovery Stage with Alisha Piercy and fellow Inanna author Phyllis Rudin, author of Evie, the Baby and the Wife as part of Put that on Your Bookshelf: Woman Interrupted. We’ll do short readings and then participate in an interview with Susan G. Cole.
We will all be available for signings afterwards. I’ll also be signing copies of Motion Sickness at the Inanna Booth # P28 in the Ontario Pavilion from 11:30-12:00.
From 4:00-4:30 pm I’ll be signing my 2013 novel, The Alphabet Stones at Blue Denim # 1326.
You can win free tickets to Inspire here.
This is from the Oct. 16 Chiseries event at Sadleir House in Peterborough. That’s me, Derek Newman-Stille, Kate Story and Ian Rogers. Great people, great night! I read from Harvesting the Moon and got to talk about it a bit, which I relished doing, as there have been several events for Motion Sickness and They Have To Take You In. It’s nights like this that make it all worth it. And, apparently Ellen Datlow, Paula Guran and some other folks talked HTM up at WFC on a panel about the best books of 2014. Very nice.
